Not gonna lie, this Tracer skin has grown on me!

Not gonna lie, this Tracer skin has grown on me!

Dropping today, Blizzard’s Overwatch two year anniversary event is one that's bound to please Overwatch fans! As mentioned in the developer update, there will be new surprises as well as the ability to earn items from previous events, which is a huge opportunity for folks that may have missed some of them. There will be a brand-new free-for-all Deathmatch map, Petra, as well as the option to participate in a mini-competitive season of free-for-all Deathmatch! Although I’m not big into Deathmatch myself, it would be nice to earn some competitive points outside of the regular competitive seasons.

We’ve already been teased about some of the new skins via Overwatch’s twitter account, but the biggest draw for me is the game modes. Players will be able to partake in modes previously released such as Junkenstein’s Revenge or Yeti Hunter, both of which will be available in Arcade Mode. Games will be rotated out on a daily basis, so everyone’s favorites should pop up. On top of getting the chance to score new items, last year's anniversary exclusives as well as any item from all of the seasonal events will be up for grabs in specialized loot boxes. Considering I missed my opportunity to get the new Moira skin, I’m pretty excited at the chance to get it without waiting a whole year. What game modes are you looking forward to playing again? Are there any items you missed out on that you're definitely going to get? Let us know!
